OUR TRUST

The Khalsa College Lyallpur Education Charitable Trust has a glorious past of serving the society especially in the field of education.

The seeds of the legacy were sown before partition-at Lyallpur (Pakistan) in the year 1908 with the establishment of organization’s first educational institute by the great sage, a kindred soul Sant Attar Singh Ji Mastuana.

After partition, the governing council of the Trust established its roots at Jalandhar during the year 1948 through ardent efforts of S. Swaran Singh Ji, Union Cabinet Minister and thereafter the Trust was headed by the renowned educationist & administrator S. Balbir Singh Ji, Member Parliament under whose able leadership and guidance the institutions run by the Trust have become a force to be reckoned with, in the field of education.

Presently under the leadership of Sardarni Balbir Kaur, the distinguished members of the Trust are successfully running a number of multi-disciplinary educational institutions with strength of nearly nine thousand students in the areas ranging from Arts & Literature to Management, IT,  Engineering & Pharmacy.

OUR INSTITUTE

The Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus was established with the merger of two distinguished colleges of the region viz: Khalsa College Lyallpur Institute of Management & Technology established in the year 2010 and Lyallpur Khalsa College of Engineering established in the year 2013, under the aegis of Khalsa College Lyallpur Education Charitable Trust with more than 110 years of legacy. Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus (LKCTC), Jalandhar offers Courses in Engineering, Diploma, B Vocational, B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Graduate & Postgraduate programs in Management & B.COM (H), Computer Application & Hotel Management. In 2023 the Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus (School of Pharmacy) was established to cater the growing demand of pharma professionals in healthcare sector during post covid era. We have been successfully imparting education to the students to make them competent, and motivated pharmacist, scientists, administrators and healthcare professionals. The Institute not only celebrates freedom of thought, cultivates vision and encourages growth but also inculcates human values & concern for the environment and the society.
