Eligibility: B. Pharmacy

Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective State / Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/ Biology as optional subjects individually.

Or

Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

Pharmacy 2nd Year (Lateral Entry)

The eligibility criteria for admission to 2nd Year of B. Pharmacy course shall be same as notified / revised by PCI from time to time. As per letter Ref. No. 14-48/2012-PCI/4473 dated 30 Sep 2020 of Pharmacy Council of India the eligibility criteria for admission to 2nd Year of B. Pharmacy course is as under:-

All those candidates who have passed the diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution approved by PCI u/s 12 Pharmacy Act, 1948 with subject to following conditions:-

  • Such D. Pharm holders admitted directly to B. Pharmacy 2nd Year shall pass those subjects of B. Pharmacy 1st year which are not covered under D. Pharm.
  • At any given time the admission in B. Pharmacy 2nd year should not exceed the sanctioned intake of B. Pharmacy 1st year + 10% seats of sanctioned intake of B. Pharmacy 1st.
  • The vacant seats of B. Pharmacy 1st year filled in the 2nd year should be only those that remained vacant in the 1st year and not created by the failure of students or not permitting the students for examination etc. for lack of attendance. Eligibility: D. Pharmacy

The Minimum qualification for the admission to Diploma in Pharmacy:

The candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination (Science Academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics.

Or

Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to above examination.

Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
